SOUTH WAYNE — The South Wayne Community Fund and Black Hawk EIE Fund held their annual grant awards reception May 14 at South Wayne Village Hall.

Recipients of the 2019 grants include:

SWCAP — Green Cares Food Pantry — Back Pack Buddies, a weekend food pack program for Black Hawk students.

Gratiot Annex Library — to refresh and enhance the children’s collection and programs.

Black Hawk School District programs: Makerspace Lab; IXL Math / Language Arts Computer Program; Superkids — Keep on Reading and Writing; and Spelling for Success.

The South Wayne Community Fund is the only community resource uniquely positioned to identify areas of need and direct resources to meet those needs — proving that together, charitable giving through the South Wayne Community Fund creates a better place to live — a place where everyone counts.

The South Wayne Community Fund is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.

For more information on either fund, contact Linda Gebhardt, Donor Service at 608-328-4060 or linda@cfsw.org.
