JUDA — Christian singer/songwriter Dan Holmes will be appearing at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4 at Juda Zion Community Church, N2350 Church Street in Juda. 

Dan is an “old-school” singer/songwriter, creating music about the presence of God in the world. His musical influences include Paul Simon, Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor and others. He has performed at over 150 churches in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Florida, Ohio and California. He has also performed at the Illinois State Fair and the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk for Breast Cancer Cure. 

Holmes has written music for the Appalachia Service Project and has toured England in 2014, 2016, and 2023. 

“Through the sharing of music, we can celebrate what God is doing in us, for us and through us,” he said. “I am an old school singer/songwriter bringing a gentle Christian message of hope.”
