Literacy Council names Spirit Award recipients
Award recognizes, honors strong advocates, supporters of adult learners

MONROE — The Literacy Council of Green County Ltd. held its annual meeting and family potluck April 15 and presented the Spirit Award, which recognizes and honors those who have been strong advocates and supporters of adult learners receiving services. 

Learners are recognized for attaining goals and becoming active community members. The council is grateful to all who advocate for those requesting services offered at no cost.
