MONROE - The Monroe Library, 925 16th Ave., will hold two special events for children in the month of October.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover, for all ages, is set for Oct. 8. Drop off stuffed animal friend to spend the night at the library. Pick-up is Oct. 9.
On Oct. 20, the "Read to a dog!" event will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The event is for all ages. Those who attend can choose a story to share with a dog.
