MONROE - The Monroe Public Library is celebrating National Library Week, which runs April 8 to 14.
To celebrate the event, the library will have cupcakes today, April 11. It is also holding a week-long drawing for a fairy garden designed by one of its staff, as well as drawings for children and teens.
The week-long festivities will end on Friday, April 13 when the library and Green County Genealogy Society will host the "1940's Census Release Party," an event filled with genealogy research.
