LENA - AJ's Lena Maid Meats was among the attendees at the Illinois Association of Meat Processors Convention and Trade Show Feb. 23-25 at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
Laverne and Marcia Pax attended the three-day session and participated in the educational seminars, annual meetings and a pre-convention workshop. They also had the opportunity to meet suppliers with the latest equipment and services to the meat industry.
AJ's Lena Maid Meats was awarded the following honors in the Feb. 24 competition, which was comprised of 200 entries in 23 different classes: grand champion, bone-in-ham; reserved grand champion, flavored snak stix; reserved grand champion, flavored brats; champion, smoked turkey breast; and best of show, bone-in-ham.
