Lee Rupnow and Ruth Berg of Lancaster observed their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 5, 2010. They were married at East Wiota Lutheran Church, South Wayne, Wis., on Sept. 5, 1970. They have two children, Amy (Robb) Thole of Waunakee and Brad (Coleen) Rupnow of Verona. They have 5 grandchildren, Nolan, Monique and Rhya Thole; and Abigail and Alexa Rupnow.

The couple celebrated with a family camping trip in August and are planning future trips to New Hampshire and Hawaii.
