newspaper stock brief

MONROE — Anyone interested in learning more about how government works is invited to join the Green County Leaders in April, as the group will offer a three-part series on leadership and local government.

Participants will learn about government on local, county, state, and federal levels. There will also be an opportunity to hear from leaders at all levels. County-level speakers include at least three county board members and five leaders of county departments. Staff from the offices of state elected officials in the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly and our federal representatives including Senators Baldwin and Johnson’s offices and Representative Pocan will also present.

There is no cost and participants can join one or more sessions. Registration is required, as this series will take place via Zoom. For more information about these sessions, visit https://green.extension.wisc.edu/gcl-2021-leadership-government-series/, find Green County Leaders on Facebook, or call Extension Green County at (608) 328-9440.
