DARLINGTON — Lafayette County is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Launch Lafayette County Grant Program. In June, a total of $45,000 in funding was awarded to thirteen local businesses to support growth and development throughout the county.
Created as a collaborative effort between the Lafayette Development Corporation and the Lafayette County Economic Development Committee, the Launch Lafayette County program is designed to support both new and existing businesses. The program is designed to help businesses improve their visibility, enhance facilities, and contribute to the vibrancy of their communities through exterior and interior upgrades, signage improvements, and facade enhancements.
This year, the program saw over 40 applications, requesting more than $250,000 in funding and representing a projected $2 million in private investment in improvement projects across Lafayette County. This strong response underscores the continued demand for small business support and investment in the region.
Thanks to a Small Business Development Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), 2025 marks the program’s fifth and most impactful year yet, offering a record-breaking $45,000 in funding. All awarded funds remain in Lafayette County, contributing to long-term economic vitality and visible improvements across the area.
