Joe and Gloria Kopp, Albany, announce the engagement of their daughter, Traci Kopp, to Brandon Crain, the son of James and Mary Lynn Crain, Summerville, S.C.
The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a master's degree in elementary education and is a first-grade teacher in the Albany School District.
The groom-to-be served on active duty in the U.S. Marines from 1997 to 2004. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute in 2006 after studying automotive, industrial and diesel technologies and is currently pursuing a degree in information technology through DeVry University. He is a mechanic for Blain's Supply, Janesville.
The couple currently resides in Oregon and will be married on July 14.
