Lee Binkley was named the James R. Gordee Kiwanian of the Year at the club’s 98th anniversary dinner recently. 

Binkley has been associated with Scout Canyon Camp for 52 years and was a longtime Monroe school teacher. 

Making the presentation were JoEllen and Dave Mosher. JoEllen is the daughter of the late longtime Kiwanis member Jim Gordee. 

Jim Gordee was heavily involved with MHS Key Club, Youth Cabin, and other scouting venues in his lifetime.
