MONROE - One hundred sixty-three posters were entered in the Christmas Poster Contest sponsored by Council 1471 of the Knights of Columbus. Students from Abraham Lincoln Accelerated Learning Academy, Northside Elementary, Parkside Elementary, and St. Victor's School entered with separate judging in each grade level. Winning posters from first through fourth grades have been forwarded for regional competition. The fifth grade contest is local only. First place winners and honorable mentions are as follows:
