JUDA - At the annual Rural Schools Conference Nov. 10, Penny Ramos was honored by the Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping address challenges faced by rural school districts.
Ramos is a 1984 graduate of the Juda school district and attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for education. She began working for the district in 1991. She currently teaches fourth grade.
The state award qualifies Ramos as a semifinalist for the National Rural Education Association Teacher of the Year Program.
