JUDA - The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation 2008 Initiative Scholarship was presented to Greg Lynch, a student at Juda High School, Juda, at a recognition luncheon hosted by U.S. Senator Herb Kohl on March 30.
The Herb Kohl Initiative Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated a high level of motivation, have shown strong promise for achieving success in college and beyond, and have overcome significant personal obstacles or adversity.
In 2008 the Herb Kohl Foundation awarded 82 students throughout Wisconsin with $1,000 Initiative Scholarships. Since it was established in 1990, the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has awarded $6.4 million to Wisconsin students, teachers and schools.
