JUDA — Morning showers could not dampen the spirits of the 31st annual Juda Toy and Farm Show Sept. 8 in downtown Juda.

Vendors from four states took part in the show that offered several handmade items from wooden toys and vintage collector toys to crafts made by local vendors. There were several small- and large-scale farms on displays from Wisconsin and Illinois that gave visitors a very close look as to what life looks like on a farm. About 240 people were in attendance.

The children’s pedal tractor pull drew a large crowd of spectators as parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles cheered on 38 contestants ranging in age from 3 to 10. Every one of them did their best to pedal the farthest to win a trophy. The farthest travelers to the show came from Appleton after reading about in Toy Farmer magazine.
