ALBANY — Over the last three years, students from Albany, Monticello and Juda have had the “opportunity of a lifetime” to explore Ireland, England, France, Italy and the Dominican Republic. Students will again be able to expand their horizons in the summer of 2020 by enrolling in an 11-day grand tour to Ireland, England and France including time in the capitals of Dublin, London and Paris. The tour is open to students currently in grades 7-12. Adults are also welcome to sign up for the trip.
To find out the trip details, attend one of the mandatory Parent and Student Information and Enrollment Meetings to be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Albany High School Media Room. An alternate meeting will be held at Juda High School at 7 p.m. Jan. 28 in the South Lab.
The trip will be led by Traci Davis, superintendent Juda Schools, and Peter Diedrich, Albany college English instructor. The group will travel with EF Tours.
The package includes a full time tour guide who is an expert in the region and is with our group 24 hours a day while we are abroad. Additional local guides lead specialized tours of attractions. Equally important is EF’s commitment to student safety.
