BROWNTOWN — The Reverend Doctor L. G. Glenn became the new interim pastor of the Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church on Sept. 1.
Pastor Glenn has over 30 years of pastoral experience and has special training for interim pastoral ministry. He has served churches in Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin. He was an Army chaplain and a police chaplain. The pastor and his wife have been married for over 43 years. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren ranging in age from newborn to 19-years-old.
Pastor Glenn has degrees from the University of the State of New York, Bethel Theological Seminary, Nashotah House Theological Seminary and Graduate Theological Foundation. He served in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Naval Reserve, Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve.
Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church (a member of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ) is located at W9006 Smock Valley Rd. outside of Browntown.
Sunday morning worship service is at 10 a.m.
