ALBANY — The Albany Historical Society will host author and Albany resident Jim Graves at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the museum, 119 N. Water St., Albany, who will give a presentation about his new book: “The Third of Three.”

The prologue reads “This book is about you and me and the people we know only different names and places.” He further writes: “Those I’ve met that will be in my memory the longest are they who made me laugh. The laugh thing; a spontaneous happy that lightens days that can use some cheer.”

The program follows a short meeting. The program is free and refreshments will be served after the program.
