MONROE - "Purchase for Paws ... the Purr-fect Garage Sale," GCHS' semi-annual garage sale, will be Oct. 1, 2 and 3. The sale will be held at Monroe Auto Sales at 101 W. 8th St. Drop-off dates for donated items will be Sept. 28-30, noon until 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, and from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday. No adult clothing or shoes will be accepted, nor can microwaves, television sets and computers and printers.

There will also be a bake sale on Thursday, Oct. 1, and donations are greatly appreciated. Baked goods should be dropped off either from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, or early on Thursday, Oct. 1.
