JEFFERSON - AgVenture Spangler Seed, Jefferson, recently announced the hiring of Jared Hitchins, Monroe, as their new AgVenture Yield Specialist. Hitchins will provide customers in southern Wisconsin with a host of production and management services developed and delivered to help growers gain more profitability from every field, officials said in a release.
To date, Hitchins' professional career has included starting and owning a business, and work in agronomy, crop protection and logging.
"We took our time to find just the right employee," AgVenture Spangler Sales and Marketing Manager Art Tessmann said in a release. "We feel strongly that Jared's character, positive attitude, independent spirit and willingness to make things better every day will be a great advantage to our customers."
Hitchins, a native of South Wayne, Wisconsin, has a 3-year-old son.
