McCONNELL, Illinois — The McConnell Area Historical Society will hold its Christmas cookie walk and holiday open house from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the museum, 202 E. Main St. A large selection of Christmas cookies and other baked goods will be available for purchase.

Bring cameras for photos with Santa Claus, who will be here for the children from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public.
