FREEPORT - Highland Community College's Community Education program is sponsoring a Raku pottery firing technique workshop from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in the Fine Arts Building, Room F-053, Freeport. Course cost is $50 and the instructors are Reed Bakken and Lori Richter.
Learn the process of Raku firing. The course includes glazing, slipping, and horse hair techniques. This is a hands-on workshop. Come have fun in a casual, relaxed environment.
