MONROE — Monroe Clinic is asking the community to help spotlight the extraordinary contributions of their staff by nominating them for the DAISY and BEE Awards. 

The DAISY Award is a special award given to a nurse who demonstrates excellent quality care, extraordinary compassion, focuses on the needs of both patient and family, and effectively collaborates with other members of the patient care team. 

The BEE Award is specifically designed to recognize staff members who demonstrate great teamwork and communication skills, collaboration, professionalism, exemplary service and a commitment to excellence. In addition, the BEE Award serves are a reminder that all members of the healthcare team contribute to the patient experience. 

Patients, visitors and staff can nominate a Monroe Clinic employee for the DAISY or BEE Awards. Nomination forms are available online at 

www.monroeclinic.org/daisy or www.monroeclinic.org/BeeAward. Nominations should be submitted by April 1.
