Travis Hawkins and Karessa Patterson, Brodhead, are parents of a daughter, Taiya Kay Hawkins, born Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, in the Monroe Clinic, Monroe. Taiya has a brother, Trayton Lee, 4 1/2. Grandparents are Jane and Randall Patterson, Monroe; Nancy Hawkins and Gary Hawkins, both of Brodhead. Great-grandparents are Howard and Lois Berra, Albany; Kamilla Rackow, Monroe; and the late Milo Rackow, the late Doris Hawkins and the late John and Joyce Patterson.
