Modesty Olsen and Eric Erickson, Monroe, are parents of a daughter, Sylvia Louise Olsen, born Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, in the Monroe Clinic. Sylvia has a sister, Mariah Erickson, 9. Grandparents are Kent and Renata Olsen, Brodhead, and Larry and Lauri Erickson, Argyle. Great-grandparents are Otto and Delores Olsen, Brodhead; Morris and Beverly Stauffacher, Monroe; Mary and Dwayne Erickson, Blanchardville; Patsy Gille, South Wayne; and Donald Gille, Shullsburg.
