MONROE - The "Your Heart's Desire" Luncheon is set for 12:30 p.m. May 13 in Peppercorn Banquets at Ludlow Mansion, 1417 Mansion Drive.
The cost is $10 and includes lunch, tax, tip and program.
The event will feature "In a Heartbeat," by Lori Allen, a registered nurse at Monroe Clinic. She will share information about heart disease prevention and cardiac rehab.
Music is by Jo Hawthorn and Jane Olson.
Dorothy Ruppert, Winona, Minn., will speak on "A Better Place." Ruppert laid out plans for a perfect life, but her plans shattered after adopting a daughter who struggled with mental illness.
