Health insurance help available on Saturday at library

MONROE - Navigators from the Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics will be at the Monroe Public Library from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday to help the public enroll in health insurance plans. Open enrollment ended, but some consumers can sign up within 60 days if they have any of these special life events: Loss of coverage from a job; COBRA; BadgerCare Plus; are on a student health plan or are turning 26 and losing parent's insurance; making a permanent move to a new county; changes in household size, birth, adoption, marriage, divorce, legal separation or death; immigration, citizenship or lawful presence in the U.S.; or release from incarceration or jail. Members of a federally recognized tribe may enroll at any time of the year.
