MONROE - The Green County Family YMCA offers several programs.

• The gymnastics program has classes available for ages 1 - 17. Family Movement is offered on Thursday mornings from 10:30 - 11 a.m. for ages 1 - 2, and Parent and Tot is held Wednesday mornings from 10 - 10:30 a.m. for ages 2 - 3. Parent participation is required for both of these classes. Rollers is the next level of our preschool program, and it is held Thursday afternoons from 4 - 4:30 p.m. for children ages 3-5.

• One of our newer classes that spends an hour in the gymnastics center and an hour in the pool. Flip N' Float is now being offered on Thursday mornings from 10 - 11:00 a.m.

• Swingers through level three are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. These are for ages 4 and up with participants put in class levels according to their skill level.

• Homeschool Gymnastics for ages 6 and up can learn the basics of gymnastics. Boys and girls are welcome for this class to be held Wednesday mornings from 11 - noon.

• Swim lessons are being offered for every skill level and every age. The class teaches swimming from beginner to the advanced. Aqua Babies is designed for young swimmers between the ages of 6 months and 2 years. Classes are held Monday evenings from 6:15 - 6:45 p.m.

• For preschool children between the ages of 3 - 5 years there is the Skippers Program. Monday 6:15 - 6:45 p.m., Tuesday 6:15 - 6:45 p.m., Thursday 5 - 5:30 p.m. or 6:15 - 6:45 p.m., and Saturday 9:45 - 10:15 a.m. Skippers 1 to 3 is a class with three students per one instructor. Tuesday Skippers class offered Fall II only.
