Karen and Richard Halvorson, Monroe, along with Ann and Dave Haroldson, Monroe, announce the engagement of their children, Amber Halvorson and Justin Haroldson.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Monroe High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008 and a master's degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2010. She is currently a registered dietitian and working toward completing her Ph.D. in nutrition at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
The future groom is a 2001 graduate of Monroe High School. He earned a doctorate degree in pharmacy from UW-Madison in 2007. He currently works as a pharmacist at Randolph Hospital.
The couple reside in Greensboro, N.C. and is planning a July 23, 2011 wedding in Wisconsin.
