Frederick Hagen, Winslow, received the Vocational Technology Award from Highland Community College, Freeport, at the traditional graduation breakfast the Friday preceding graduation. Hagen actively assisted Highland Community College in creating a pick and place robot used to demonstrate to prospective students touring the campus. He also enjoyed working in the electronics lab building games. In addition to earning his degree, Hagen serves the Winslow Park District and Martintown Community Church as financial secretary. He has already started a new career related to his field of study.
