DARLINGTON - Home and Community Education and the Live Well Lafayette Coalition is hosting a showing of the documentary, "Consider the Conversation," at 7 p.m. Monday, May 7 at Talmer Bank Community Room, 15815 Wisconsin 81. The movie has been provided by the Grassroots Citizens of Wisconsin.
The movie was produced by two longtime Wisconsin friends - one a hospice worker and the other a State Teacher of the Year. It was presented on PBS and has commentary on the American struggle with communication and preparation at the end-of-life. "Consider the Conversation" includes interviews with patients, family members, doctors, nurses, clergy, social workers and national experts from around the country.
Kent Mayfield of Grassroots Citizens of Wisconsin will provide the introduction of the documentary. Light refreshments will be served. More information is available by contacting the University of Wisconsin-Extension office at (608) 776-4820.
