MONROE - The transpartisan group City of Monroe United To Amend, in conjunction with the Green County United to Amend, will host an open public forum from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the second floor meeting room at the Monroe Public Library.
Subject items include: What is corporate personhood? What is the impact of unlimited big money on elections and elected officials? How can voices and votes stop the decline of democracy?
The free event is open to the public. The event is informational and not affiliated with any political party. There will be a short welcome and presentation and participation in a question-and-answer session.
