ALBANY - Local residents from the Harvest Center in Albany will discuss their experience using herbs for health and nutrition at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St., Albany.

The group will introduce which herbs to use and why, providing examples of what some of the herbs look like and how they should look when foraged. They will also lead attendees outdoors for a brief hunt for herbs and wild plants that can be foraged this time of year.

The discussion is the second in a series of information sessions at the library this year related to the topic of health and nutrition.

Registration is appreciated but not required. Call Albertson Memorial Library at 608-862-3491 to register. The library email address is albanypl@tds.net.
