MONROE — Anyone hoping to brighten up their landscaping, make a last-minute Mother’s Day purchase or find the perfect summer centerpiece will have the chance May 7 and 8 at Green Haven’s 29th annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale.
Green Haven is a non-profit victim services organization that offers support to those affected by abuse and violence. All of their services are free and confidential.
The sale will take place in front of First National Bank and Trust on the north side of the Square in Monroe from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. May 7 and 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. May 8. Pre-orders can be picked up from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. May 7 and 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Potting Shed in Monroe.
Patrons will find a variety of items at the sale, from annuals like geraniums and petunias to succulent planters and hanging begonia.
All of the plants available are from The Potting Shed.
