MONROE - The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Green County is commemorating World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15. The theme is "One person. Once action. One Nation. United Against Elder Abuse."
The goal of the awareness day is to bring to light the abuse of the elderly in Green County and around the United States, whether it be through physical abuse, financial exploitation or withholding of services they need.
