MONROE - The first annual Green County Premier Exhibitor contest was held at the 2011 Green County Fair.

The event was designed to recognize 4-H and FFA members who have shown exceptional involvement and knowledge in their respective project area, and it was open to any exhibitor in the areas of swine, dairy, beef, sheep and goats.

The contest was divided into two grade divisions: the junior division for exhibitors in grades 3 to 8 and the senior division for exhibitors in grades 9 and up.

During the event, contestants participated in showmanship and a skillathon, as well as took a 25-point knowledge quiz.
