Gratiot church plans missions conference

GRATIOT - The Gratiot Evangelical Free Church will have its annual Missions Conference on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7. The speakers are Pastor Alex and Rody Stroie from Romania and Roland and Julie Lee who are missionaries in Indonesia.

At 7:30 a.m. Saturday activities begin with a Men's Breakfast with Pastor Alex Stroie sharing about his work in Romania.

On Saturday at 12:30 p.m. there will be a Women's Luncheon with Rody Stroie and Karen Lee speaking about their experiences to the women.

Also on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. there will be a Youth Event for junior high and high school students with Pastor Alex.

On Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. the two couples will be giving slide presentations of the work they are involved in. Roland Lee works as a Missionary Aviation Maintenance Operations Manager in Papua, Indonesia. Karen is involved in youth ministry. They have four children.

Pastor Alex has many areas of ministry as a pastor, Gypsy childrens' ministry, and outreaches for the youth and elderly. Rody assists in their various ministries. They have two children.

Sunday, September 7, at 9:30 a.m. there will be a Panel Discussion with both couples discussing their ministries and other interesting facts about these two countries.

On Sunday at 10:30 a.m., Roland will share more about their ministry in the country of Papau, Indonesia and Pastor Alex will bring the morning message
