JANESVILLE - Girl Scouts of Badger Council will hold their annual meeting on Saturday, at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County, 2909 Kellogg Avenue, Janesville. Refreshments, registration and videos are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with the meeting scheduled from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. All adult members and girls 14 and older are invited to attend; elected delegates are required to attend.
Elections to be held include approving the merger agreement and plan of merger for the new Girl Scouts of Wisconsin-Badgerland Council, Inc., as well as approving the new council's Board of Directors and Board Development Committee. Agenda items include a state of the council address and treasurer's report. Other scheduled events for the day are the viewing of a DVD marking the milestones of Badger Council and an introduction of the new Badgerland Council CEO, Jennette Bradley.
