MONROE - Linda Schiesser and Donna Kjendlie will present "A Genealogical Display" and 'Writing a Query" when the Green County Genealogical Society meets at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, in the upper level of the Monroe Public Library.

Schiesser will explain how to properly set up a display, what information is included and what materials will be needed. This is in preparation for October History Month when several libraries will host displays.

Kjendlie will conclude the program with instructions on "Writing a Query" postponed from last month.

A short business meeting will precede the program. Anyone interested in genealogy or historical family research is invited to attend.

Refreshments and door prizes will adjourn the meeting. At 1 p.m. Saturday, there will be a long range planning meeting and anyone interested is invited to attend.
