Gene and Ruby Phillips celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.
Phillips and Ruby Pickett were married Oct. 7, 1950, in the parsonage at Peace Church in Browntown.
They are the parents of Wendell (Sally), Marshfield; Curtis, Monroe; Stacey (Reyne), Browntown; Bradley (Laurie), Juda; and Shelly (Sam) Pattinson, Sugar River Grove, Ill. There are eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
