GCHS donationing begins Monday

MONROE - Donations for the Green County Humane Society rummage sale may be dropped off beginning Monday, May 4, at Monroe Auto Sales.

Items for the sale can be dropped off from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, May 4, and Tuesday, May 5, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 6. Adult clothing and shoes cannot be accepted.

The garage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 8; and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at Monroe Auto Sales. Bake sale items will be available Thursday, May 7. Baked good are also needed for the bake sale.

In addition, there will be a Schwan's truck sale to benefit the GCHS. The Schwan's truck will be on location each day of the sale. Catalogs for pre-orders are available at the shelter, 1500 6th Ave. in Monroe.

Shelter hours of operation are noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. It is closed Monday, Wednesday and holidays.
