MONROE — The Green County Conservation League Annual Membership Meeting will be held Oct. 14 at the Argyle Rod and Gun Club, W9408 WI 81. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner and meeting at 6:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. there will be a speaker, Steve D’oriazo, Quail Forever Southern WI Chapter and several different raffles.
Officers for next year are:

Vice-President: Ryan Schutte
Secretary: Norman Williams
Treasurer: Nate Bloom
League Directors: Kim Christen, Ron Rufener, Gary Sutherland, Craig Zenter, Ken Risley, Bob Blankenhorn, Pattie Brandt, Bruce Loften, Nate Klassy, Jim Bauman, Bob Voegeli, Mike Hubbard, Gary Anderson and Roy Zenter.
League meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Legion building in Monroe. Members and interested sportsmen are invited.
Annual meeting active members are invited to renew membership and order trees. Interested sportsmen are also invited to learn more about league activities.
Last year activities included: work at Cadiz Park, Conservation Day at Honey Creek Park and donations to Argyle Rod and Gun, Sugar River Pheasants Forever, Monroe American Legion, New Glarus High School Trap Club and UW-Stevens Point Summer Camp.
