ALBANY - Albany Historical Society's Annual Hymn Sing will be held on Sunday, Aug. 16 at the Gap Church on Wisconsin 59, three miles west of Albany, beginning at 2 p.m. The event is open to all who love to sing the old favorite hymns. There will be refreshments after the program.
Special music and accompaniment will be provided by Robb and Grace Spangler of Albany, according to D'Anna Blumer, chairman of the Hymn Sing. Those desiring to provide juice or cookies for the refreshment table may call Jane Copus, 897-2249.
Membership meetings with programs will resume at 7 p.m., Sept. 15 at the Museum, 117-119 N.Water St., downtown Albany. The Museum is open to visitors on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Labor Day weekend, and 9 a.m. to noon beginning September 12. For further information, call Ruth Beckman, President, 862-3423.
