The 2019 recipients of the first annual Dennis Wirth Science Scholarship are Trae Schilling and Isabel Wedig.
A $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior at Darlington High School and a second $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduate of Darlington High School with two or more post high school years of education pursuing a degree in a science field. Trae will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison this fall majoring in biology with the goal of becoming a medical doctor. Isabel just completed her second year at the UW-Madison pursuing a pharmaceutical sciences degree with the goal of gaining a doctorate degree in pharmacy.
