MONROE - The Monroe United Methodist Church Friends In Faith Ministry will sponsor a trip to The Dancing Horses Dinner Theatre and Animal Gardens, located 5 miles west of Lake Geneva, on Wednesday, Aug. 29.
The Vegas-style show is 90 minutes long and concludes with the "dancing waters," featuring hundreds of water jets choreographed to music with a kaleidoscope of changing lights.
Following the main performance, the group will also have the opportunity to view an exotic bird show starring "Echo," the parrot that has appeared on television's "America's Got Talent," "Jay Leno" and Animal Planet's "Star Pets."
A carpool from the church will leave at 9:30 a.m. After arriving at the theater, the group will have a box lunch, which will include a turkey croissant sandwich, potato salad, fresh fruit salad, dessert and lemonade.
The cost is $35 per person for the performance tickets and lunch. The trip is open to the public but reservations are required. To make reservations, contact the church office at 608-325-6700 or Ranele Connors at 608-325-6495.
