Friends of Brodhead Memorial Public Library to meet
Library
Workers removed the old steel radiators from the Boscobel Public Library earlier this week as a new forced air heating system is being installed. The library is now closed through Saturday, Oct. 31, but will re-open with its normal hours on Monday, Nov. 2.

BRODHEAD — The Friends of Brodhead Memorial Public Library will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at Brodhead Memorial Public Library, 1207 25th Street.

The Friends assist library efforts to meet community needs by supporting and encouraging participation in library programs and activities; promoting public awareness of the library and informing the community about library services, facilities, and needs; assisting in raising funds for special library needs; and by advancing a close understanding and cooperation between library users, trustees and staff.

The Friends meet quarterly and meetings are held the first Wednesday of March, June, September, and December. Individual Friends memberships are $5 per year. Meetings are family-friendly. For more information on the Friends, visit www.brodheadlibrary.org/friends-library.
