FREEPORT - Highland Community College is offering equine courses beginning this fall. The two-credit hour courses include: • Introduction to Horse Feed and Breeding • Introduction to Equine Sports Massage and Horse Maintenance • Introduction to Horse Handling, Horsemanship and General Training • Introduction to the Practical Work of the Horse. The classes will be taught by Anki Folkstedt, a 30-year veteran of Swedish riding schools and certified riding school master.
