BLANCHARDVILLE - Join fretted dulcimer recording artist, singer and folklorist Ruth Barrett for an evening of traditional Celtic and original folk music celebrating the holiday of Halloween, also known as All Hallows Eve, Hallomas, or Samhain, 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at River Valley Trading Co., 204 S. Main St., Blanchardville. Freewill donation appreciated.

She is an internationally known fretted dulcimer recording artist, singer, and songwriter whose classical finger picking style of dulcimer playing, combined with a powerful and beautiful voice, has enchanted audiences for over three decades.
