MONROE/MONTICELLO - The Monroe Optimist Club will host its annual fishing clinic on Saturday.
Those who attend can meet at the Monroe Public Library at 9 a.m. and then travel by bus to Lake Montesian.
A lunch will be available and prizes will be raffled off.
The group will return to Monroe by 1 p.m. Transportation, prizes and lunch will be provided. Boys and girls should bring their own fishing equipment and bait.
Adult Optimist Club members will supervise.
