BRODHEAD - The First Brigade Band, which originally consisted of young men from Brodhead in 1864, will be presenting two concerts Aug. 9. The concerts will be held in conjunction with Covered Bridge Days.
The band will perform at 4:30 p.m. at Putnam Park. After the performance, the band will march to Exchange Square for a special presentation of "The Men and Music of Brodhead."
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to sit upon for the performances.
